content creation for yobo soju: ktown
Spring 2024.
I had the opportunity to work closely with the team at Yobo Soju to provide creative direction and content strategy for their sub-brand, KTOWN SOJU.
I teamed up with my colleague MJ Abiva, who joined me as Producer. Together, we were able to hire out cast and crew necessary for each project.
Here’s some of the work we produced, both speculative and deployed by our client.
Usage intended for IG Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and client’s website.
Party Vibes, Reaction Clips
I love curating vibes and capturing the atmosphere for viewers to grasp a deeper story behind the product. >>>
There was also a lot of love around reaction-style videos, like these two videos below. I also made sure to use current Trending Audio and quick before-and-after shots of how partygoers felt once they got a taste of KTOWN.
Featuring influencer GG Santos and professional dancer Youlmae Kim, respectively.
Cute Girl Summer
While our initial idea was to provide higher production videos with a rollout plan, there was a lot of leaning toward creating UGC as well. This was my first take!
When I saw the name KTOWN, I knew this drink would be a great Friday night plan. But after tasting each flavor, I knew that KTOWN would also fit perfectly in a morning-after brunch or picnic setting.
I used Victoria Monet’s “We Might Even Be Falling in Love", which was a top Trending Audio at the start of the summer.
A night in KTOWN.
One of the higher production videos I directed toward the end of our term. Happy to have landed on this visual to commemorate an unforgettable night with KTOWN.
Shoutout to the rest of our team: Dazil Aquino, Justin Sinz, Andrew Ye for photographing, filming, and editing. Special Thanks to Mich Duong, Esosa Oviasu, Youran Lee for assisting in set design and production.
